The Mossman Botanic Garden has established partnerships with the Australian Tropical Herbarium/James Cook University and other educational institutions to manage, understand and protect the garden collections.
An on-site biosecurity station and strategy will help us meet the highest standards of biosecurity for any public garden (internationally) and raise awareness and confidence amongst the community. It will be instrumental in providing prevention, protection and research opportunities in FNQ. The garden will attract researchers and students from across the globe.
